Amnesty International is an international non‐governmental organization, formed in 1961, which campaigns against violations of human rights. On August 25, 1908, the National Association of Colored Graduate Nurses was founded when 52 African American nurses gathered in New York City.  The group focused on eliminating discrimination and developing leadership among African American nurses.  In 1951, it became part of the ANAFROM: Fast Facts about the Nursing Profession, p. 128  (RT31.H86 2017)

Service animal is an animal trained to assist a person with a disability. Service animals can help such people lead fuller, more independent lives. Dogs are the most common service animals. Miniature horses may also be service animals. Service animals can be trained for a variety of tasks. Zone time is the civil time that is kept within one of the 24 time zones into which the Earth’s surface is divided.
