The Freeman/Lozier Library is always changing to keep up with the latest trends and services to offer you our best. Our More Than Books newsletter has a “Did You Know” section that keeps you informed about the changes that have taken place in the library. Here is the latest news from that newsletter:
The Library created more study rooms? To increase the number of study rooms available for students, staff, and faculty, the Library has divided three of its existing four study rooms in half. So now, instead of four, there are seven study rooms available for reservation. Reservations can be made in person or on the Library website. Do not forget to bring your ID with you!
You can donate to those in need in the Library this holiday season? From November 1 through December 17, the Library is collecting donated items for six organizations: Nebraska Humane Society, Junior League of Omaha, Omaha Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Project Linus, and Bellevue Veterans Home. Contact the Library for more information on how and what to donate for each of these worthy causes.
You can sign up for the new Research Assistance Program (RAP)? The Research Assistance Program is our new and improved Personal Librarian Program. When you sign up, a member of the reference team will work with you one-on-one throughout your academic career to answer your questions about the research process. To find out more and sign up, check out the Library’s website!
