The Freeman/Lozier Library is always changing to keep up with the latest trends and services to offer you our best.  Our More Than Books newsletter has a “Did You Know” section that keeps you informed about the changes that have taken place in the library.  Here is the latest news from that newsletter:

Several Nebraska colleges share library materials for free?    You can check out books not owned by the Freeman/Lozier Library from over twenty Nebraska colleges through our reciprocal borrowing agreement. A list of colleges and links to their catalogs can be found here.

Private study rooms are available for reservation?   The library has seven study rooms for individual or group use. White boards with dry erase markers are available in several rooms, and DVD players can be checked out for use with projectors. The library website has policies and information on booking study rooms.

The library offers resources on plagiarism and citation?   Before turning in your next assignment, check to make sure your citations are in order with NoodleTools, a program that helps with APA or MLA styles. Turnitin is a service that assesses how original your work is. The library has also created an Interactive Copyright Tutorial and Plagiarism Tutorial to introduce you to these topics.
