The Bellevue University Library Reference Team is pleased to offer a new value-added service to students, faculty and staff. This new service is titled, “Virtual Meeting with a Librarian.” This up-and-coming service is available under the “Ask a Librarian” tab from the Bellevue University Library’s website.
The “Virtual Meeting with a Librarian” Service is primarily for students who wish to work one-on-one with a reference librarian. Some of the services that the reference librarians provide include the following:
- Guidance on APA Formatting
- Locating Research Articles for Assignments
- Assisting with Search Strategies
- Finding resources using the Bellevue University Library’s Subscription-Based Databases.
- Exploring Research Guides
While this is not an exhaustive list of services that the Reference Team provides, these are the most common questions that the Bellevue University Reference Librarians receive. Our primary focus is student success and we want students to be successful in their academic pursuits at Bellevue University.
Feel free to schedule a virtual meeting with a reference librarian by clicking here, or you might want to consider enrolling in the Research Assistance Program by clicking here. The Research Assistance Program (RAP) is a program where students are paired with a reference staff member and will receive monthly e-mails from their assigned librarian regarding new services and offerings.
We hope that you will consider enrolling in either the Research Assistance Program or scheduling a virtual meeting with a reference librarian in the near future. As always, thank you so much for entrusting the Bellevue University Library Staff with your research needs.
