The Bellevue University Library Staff is excited about National Library Week (NLW) which will be April 23-29, 2023. During this week, Library Staff plan and execute several special activities based on the theme provided by the ALA (American Library Association). This year’s theme is “There’s more to the story.” All staff, faculty and students are encouraged to visit the library during this week to celebrate National Library Week. Below is a list of all of the NLW events.
There’s More to Storytelling! Tuesday April 25 12:30-1:30pm in the Library (Room 460) Join us for a discussion with local author Ann Markim about writing and wordbuilding.
Open House Wednesday April 26th 2:00-3:30pm.
Makerspace Demo Thursday April 27, 2023 2:00pm-3:00pm Library (Room 460). Catch a demonstration highlighting the Library’s new makerspace collection.
Additional activities include a book sale April 21, 2023-May 1, 2023, a counting contest (In-person), and a library mad lib contest (Online).
